Dunes II was inspired by an incredibly special landscape, located in Sandbanks Provincial Park. This park boasts a variety of beaches; all of which have these incredible sand dunes that are not unlike those found in Prince Edward Island or Cape Cod. Although I have always appreciated their beauty, it wasn’t until I had two little boys running around that I really realized how unique they are. Hours have been spent running up and down the sand dunes, playing chase and hide & seek. Some of my favourite photos of my kids have been taken amongst these dunes. They will forever remind me of motherhood and summer days with little boys.
