THE THAW
Every year, during Springtime, my children and I take our dog to Sandbanks Provincial Park to embrace the warming sun and the thawing shoreline. There’s something ritualistic about it; something that feels as if the three of us are willing the bitter winter winds away and welcoming the warmer days ahead.
