Autumn Sky is a landscape that never gets old. The view from the dining room in my country house is magical. It is calming and familiar and is subtle in its changes. Month to month, season to season, year to year. There is a consistency that I crave but a newness each time we get to visit. This painting pays tribute to the ever changing, but oh-so-familiar, “big sky country” that I am lucky enough to enjoy, again and again.
